ARRIVAL TO BELEK
Belek is 32 km away from Antalya Airport. You can reach Belek by bus or by renting private car or taking a taxi from the airport.

The dress code for Congress is Business Casual. 

CLIMATE
Endowed with a typical Mediterranean climate, October days are sunny and warm in Antalya, which has an excellent comfort index of 86/100 for this month. Average temperatures range from 15°C at night to 27°C at midday. Antalya's beaches, the “Turkish Riviera” benefit from 9 hours of daily sunshine and swimming is done in waters of 23°C. Marine breezes bring in October, with 70mm of rainfall for 4 days of rain across the month.

CURRENCY
The unit of currency is Turkish Lira (sign: ₺ - code: TRY) 

Even though you may find some banks which will accept your currency in exchange for Turkish Lira, you are more likely to come across exchange bureaus, which specialize in this type of transaction, and are usually open on Sundays too in tourist areas.  Make sure you have some ID with you. 

Your credit card will enable you to withdraw cash in Turkish Lira 24 hours a day at the hundreds of automatic cashpoints in the city. They often give you the choice of instructions in English or other languages.  Make sure you check beforehand with your own bank however, because you may be charged for this service.

The electricity network has adopted the European standard of a tension of 220 V, with a frequency of 50 Hz.  The power plugs are the European standard electrical types, with two round pins.
